Steve Kracinovich - Vice President Assistant to the Program Executive Officer (W) for RDT&E Mr. Kracinovich received his BS in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1983, a MS in Aviation Systems Engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1989, and a MS in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech in 1992. He is also a graduate of the United States Naval Test Pilot School. Prior to joining the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) team, Mr. Kracinovich was involved in flight testing of the latest advances in Navy/Marine Corps vertical flight aircraft for the Naval Air Test Center. This included an assignment as the first Lead Flight Test Engineer for the V-22 tiltrotor program. Mr. Kracinovich has been the head of the systems integration brand for Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV), targets, and rotorcraft; and the head of the systems integration division for NAVAIR. He is currently the NAVAIR Assistant to the Program Executive Officer of Weapons for RDT&E (APEO(W)-RDT&E). In this role he acts as the chief engineer to PEO(W) and oversees the technical efforts of all UAV, cruise missile, and mission planning programs within NAVAIR. Mr. Kracinovich is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Association for Unmanned Systems International (AUVSI) and the United States lead to the (UAV) TP-6 working group of the international group The Technical Cooperation Panel (TTCP). Additionally he was a former elected member and chairman of the St. Mary’s County Board of Education. |
